- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 10 minutes until foamy.
- Add egg, melted butter, salt, and gradually add flour. Knead until smooth (7-10 mins).
- Place dough in oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
- Roll out dough to 1/2 inch thick and cut into rounds. Let rise again for 30-45 mins.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry donuts 1-2 mins per side until golden. Cool completely.
- Whip cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Slice donuts open, fill with cream and strawberries.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
