Method
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove biscuits from can and separate them. Leave them as whole rounds for stuffing/topping.
- Fry biscuits in batches, 2-3 at a time, for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, beat softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add milk if needed to reach a spreadable glaze consistency.
- Generously spread the cheesecake mixture over the warm donuts.
- Top with chopped fresh strawberries and serve immediately.
Notes
Best eaten fresh. Reheat plain donuts in air fryer before adding topping if eating later.
