Strawberries and Cream Cocktail

Ingredients
  

Cocktail
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2-3 fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1.5 oz coconut cream unsweetened
  • 1 oz strawberry simple syrup
  • 1 handful ice for shaking and serving
  • 1 strawberry for garnish

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Muddler
  • Strainer
  • Stemless glass

Method
 

  1. Place the sliced fresh strawberries in the bottom of a cocktail shaker and muddle gently to release the juices.
  2. Add the white rum, coconut cream, and strawberry simple syrup to the shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  4. Fill a stemless glass with fresh ice cubes.
  5. Strain the cocktail mixture over the fresh ice.
  6. Garnish the rim of the glass with a fresh strawberry slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a blended version, skip the muddling and shaking, and blend all ingredients with ice until smooth.
