  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Filling
  • 8 oz spaghetti uncooked
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 0.25 cup parmesan cheese grated

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Large Pot
  • Serrated knife
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut a circle in the top of each bread roll and hollow out the center to create a bowl shape.
  3. Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush inside and outside of bread bowls. Bake empty bowls for 5 minutes.
  4. Boil spaghetti in salted water until just before al dente. Drain and toss with marinara sauce.
  5. Fill each toasted bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture.
  6. Top generously with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Notes

Place a slice of cheese at the bottom of the bread bowl before filling to prevent sogginess.
