Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, mozzarella, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Unfold puff pastry sheets and cut each into 9 equal squares.
- Place a tablespoon of filling in the center of each square. Fold two opposite corners inward over the filling, pressing gently to adhere.
- Brush the pastry (avoiding the filling) with the beaten egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Mix melted butter with chopped parsley. Brush over hot pastries immediately after removing from oven.
- Serve warm.
Notes
Ensure puff pastry is cold before baking for maximum rise.
