Method
- If using fresh peaches, peel, slice, and freeze them on a baking sheet for at least 3 hours until solid.
- Place the liquid (soda or water), lemon juice, frozen peaches, and ice cubes into a blender.
- Pulse a few times to break up the large chunks of ice.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add more liquid one tablespoon at a time.
- Taste and add sweetener (honey or sugar) if necessary, blending briefly to combine.
- Pour immediately into tall glasses.
- Garnish with a fresh peach slice on the rim and serve with a straw.
Notes
For an adult version, add a shot of vodka or peach schnapps.
