Ingredients

Slurpee Base
  • 3 cups frozen peach slices store-bought or homemade
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda or water Sprite, 7-Up, or filtered water
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or sugar optional, to taste
Garnish
  • 2 slices fresh peach for rim

Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Tall Glasses
  • Straws

Method

  1. If using fresh peaches, peel, slice, and freeze them on a baking sheet for at least 3 hours until solid.
  2. Place the liquid (soda or water), lemon juice, frozen peaches, and ice cubes into a blender.
  3. Pulse a few times to break up the large chunks of ice.
  4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and slushy. If the mixture is too thick, add more liquid one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Taste and add sweetener (honey or sugar) if necessary, blending briefly to combine.
  6. Pour immediately into tall glasses.
  7. Garnish with a fresh peach slice on the rim and serve with a straw.

Notes

For an adult version, add a shot of vodka or peach schnapps.
