Ingredients

Slurpee Base
  • 3 cups frozen peach slices unsweetened
  • 2 cups ice cubes crushed preferred
  • 1 cup white grape juice or apple juice, or water for lower sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1-2 tbsp honey or agave optional, adjust to taste
Garnish
  • 2 slices fresh peach wedges
  • 2 sprigs fresh mint optional

Equipment

  • High-speed blender
  • Tall Glasses
  • Spatula

Method

  1. Place serving glasses in the freezer to chill for at least 10 minutes.
  2. Pour the liquid base (juice or water) and lemon juice into the blender canister first.
  3. Add the frozen peach slices, ice cubes, and sweetener (if using) on top of the liquid.
  4. Pulse the blender 5-6 times to break up the large ice chunks and fruit slices.
  5. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until the mixture is smooth and slushy. Use a tamper to push ingredients down if necessary.
  6. Check consistency; add more ice for a thicker slush or a splash of juice for a thinner drink.
  7. Pour immediately into the chilled glasses.
  8. Garnish with a fresh peach slice and a straw. Serve instantly.

Notes

For a fizzy version, swap the juice for lemon-lime soda, but stir it in at the end rather than blending vigorously.
