- Remove beef from fridge 60 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the meat dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet and sear the beef for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Mix softened butter with minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Spread over the seared beef.
- Transfer skillet to oven. Roast for 20-25 minutes until internal temp reaches 130°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from oven and let rest on a board for 15 minutes before slicing.
- In a small pan, melt butter with garlic and parsley for the sauce.
- Slice the beef into thick rounds and serve with the warm garlic butter sauce drizzled over.

Always use a meat thermometer for accuracy as tenderloin thickness varies.
