Method
- Lightly grease the insert of your slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Rub this seasoning over the chicken breasts.
- Place the seasoned chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, and the gravy mix packet until smooth.
- Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours, until chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken directly in the pot or slice it and return it to the gravy.
- Serve hot over mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freezes well for up to 3 months.
