Method
- Place 4 coupe or margarita glasses in the freezer to chill for at least 15 minutes.
- Prepare the garnish by slicing the kiwis into thick rounds and creating a small slit in each slice. Set aside.
- In a high-powered blender, combine the chilled pink guava nectar, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender. Blend on high until the mixture forms a thick, smooth, frosty slush.
- Stop the blender. Pour the chilled sparkling water into the pitcher and use a long spoon to gently stir and fold it into the slush. Do not blend the sparkling water.
- Remove the chilled glasses from the freezer. Spoon or pour the frosty guava mixture into the glasses, piling it high.
- Garnish each glass by sliding a fresh kiwi slice onto the rim. Serve immediately while frozen.
Notes
For an adult version, add 4 oz of white rum or silver tequila to the blender before adding the ice. To prevent a watery drink, consider freezing some guava nectar in an ice cube tray to use in place of standard ice.
