Guava Kiwi Fizz

A gorgeous, frosty pink tropical drink blending sweet guava nectar with ice, finished with a sparkling fizz and a fresh kiwi garnish. Perfect for summer days!

Ingredients
  

Frozen Base
  • 2 cups guava nectar chilled
  • 4 cups ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp simple syrup optional, to taste
Fizz & Garnish
  • 1 cup sparkling water or lemon-lime soda chilled
  • 2 kiwis peeled and sliced into rounds

Equipment

  • High-powered blender
  • Coupe or margarita glasses
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Peel and slice the kiwis into rounds. Make a small slit in each slice so it can easily rest on the rim of a glass. Set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine the guava nectar, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup (if using).
  3. Add the ice cubes to the blender. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth, frosty, and no large chunks of ice remain.
  4. Divide the frozen guava slush evenly among 4 serving glasses, leaving about an inch of room at the top.
  5. Gently top each glass with a splash of chilled sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for the fizz.
  6. Garnish the rim of each glass with a prepared kiwi slice and serve immediately.

Notes

To make this an adult cocktail, add 4-6 oz of white rum, coconut rum, or silver tequila to the blender before adding the ice.
