Method
- Peel and slice the kiwis into rounds. Make a small slit in each slice so it can easily rest on the rim of a glass. Set aside.
- In a blender, combine the guava nectar, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup (if using).
- Add the ice cubes to the blender. Blend on high until the mixture is completely smooth, frosty, and no large chunks of ice remain.
- Divide the frozen guava slush evenly among 4 serving glasses, leaving about an inch of room at the top.
- Gently top each glass with a splash of chilled sparkling water or lemon-lime soda for the fizz.
- Garnish the rim of each glass with a prepared kiwi slice and serve immediately.
Notes
To make this an adult cocktail, add 4-6 oz of white rum, coconut rum, or silver tequila to the blender before adding the ice.
