Ingredients

Wraps
  • 4 large flour tortillas burrito size
  • 12 strips bacon cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups iceberg lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes diced and seeded
  • 1.5 cups Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 tbsp butter for frying
Creamy House Sauce
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp smoked paprika

Equipment

  • Skillet or Griddle
  • Chef's Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Small mixing bowl

Method

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and paprika. Refrigerate until needed.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop roughly.
  3. Lay tortillas flat. Spread sauce in the center. Layer cheese, chopped bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce.
  4. Fold sides in, then roll tightly from the bottom up to form a burrito shape.
  5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down.
  6. Cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Slice in half diagonally and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure tomatoes are not too wet to prevent sogginess. Use day-old tortillas if fresh ones tear easily, but warm them first.
