Ingredients
  

Mocktail Base
  • 2 cups pink lemonade chilled
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda (Sprite/7-Up) chilled
  • 4 cups ice cubes
Magical Additions
  • 0.25 tsp pink edible beverage glitter luster dust
  • 1 pinch edible pink or gold star sprinkles
  • 1 drop pink gel food coloring optional
Garnish
  • 2 handfuls pink cotton candy

Equipment

  • Tall ribbed highball glasses
  • Large Pitcher
  • Long stirring spoon
  • Metallic straws

Method
 

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the chilled pink lemonade and lemon-lime soda. Add a drop of pink food coloring if a brighter color is desired.
  2. Sprinkle the edible pink beverage glitter into the pitcher and stir vigorously until the liquid is swirling and sparkling.
  3. Fill tall glasses completely to the top with ice cubes to provide a resting structure for the cotton candy.
  4. Sprinkle a few edible star sprinkles directly over the ice in each glass.
  5. Pour the sparkling pink mixture into the glasses, leaving about a half-inch of space at the top.
  6. Fluff a handful of pink cotton candy and gently rest it on the rim of the glass like a cloud.
  7. Carefully insert a metallic straw through the center of the cotton candy. Serve immediately before the candy melts!

Notes

Wait to add the cotton candy until the very last second before serving, as moisture in the air and condensation from the drink will cause it to melt.
