Ingredients
  

Cocktail Ingredients
  • 1.5 oz white rum
  • 1.5 oz peach schnapps
  • 3 oz orange juice fresh, pulp-free
  • 1.5 oz cranberry juice tart cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 cup ice cubed or crushed
Garnishes
  • 1 slice fresh peach
  • 1 sprig fresh mint

Equipment

  • Rocks Glass
  • Bar Spoon
  • Jigger or Measuring Cup

Method
 

  1. Fill a rocks glass completely to the brim with ice.
  2. Pour the white rum and peach schnapps directly over the ice.
  3. Pour the orange juice into the glass. Use a bar spoon to gently stir these bottom three ingredients together.
  4. To create the layered effect, hold a bar spoon upside down just above the liquid level. Slowly pour the cranberry juice over the back of the spoon so it floats on top.
  5. Garnish with a fresh peach slice on the rim and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.

Notes

To ensure the cranberry juice floats perfectly, make sure to pour it very slowly over the back of a spoon to disperse the liquid. Stir the drink before consuming for the best flavor.
