- Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season generously on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add pork chops and sear for 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up browned bits.
- Whisk in heavy cream and simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly reduced.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return pork chops to the skillet along with any resting juices. Simmer for 2-4 minutes until pork is cooked through (145°F internal).
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure pork chops are room temperature before searing for even cooking. Do not use pre-grated parmesan.
