Ingredients
  

Sliders
  • 12 slider buns Hawaiian or savory
  • 1 lb roast beef thinly sliced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 small onion thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
Glaze
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sliced onions. Sauté for 8-10 minutes until caramelized and soft.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves in the baking dish.
  4. Layer half the provolone cheese, then the roast beef, then the caramelized onions, and finally the remaining cheese. Top with the bun lids.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, beef broth, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush or pour the glaze mixture evenly over the tops of the buns.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-12 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  8. Serve warm immediately.

Notes

Serve with extra beef broth (au jus) on the side for dipping if desired.
