Ingredients

Drink Base
  • 1 cup cloudy lemonade chilled
  • 2 tbsp pink fruit syrup raspberry, strawberry, or dragon fruit
  • 0.5 cup crushed ice
  • 3-4 colored ice spheres pink/purple tinted
Garnishes & Magic
  • 3 slices fresh lemon
  • 5 whole fresh raspberries
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 1 pinch edible iridescent glitter and sugar stars
  • 1 tbsp light corn syrup for rimming

Equipment

  • Clear faceted glass
  • Ice sphere molds
  • Bar spoon or teaspoon
  • Small shallow dish

Method

  1. Dip the rim of a clear glass into light corn syrup, then immediately dip into edible glitter and stars to coat the rim.
  2. Fill the glass with a mix of crushed ice and colored ice spheres. Tuck fresh lemon slices and raspberries down the inside edges of the glass.
  3. Pour the heavy pink fruit syrup directly over the ice so it settles at the bottom of the glass.
  4. Hold a spoon upside down inside the glass just above the ice. Slowly pour the chilled lemonade over the back of the spoon to create a clean layer on top of the syrup.
  5. Drop a tiny pinch of edible luster dust directly into the drink for extra shimmer.
  6. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a colorful straw. Serve immediately.

Notes

Always use 100% edible, food-grade glitter or luster dust, never craft glitter. Pour the top layer very slowly to maintain the beautiful gradient effect.
