Ingredients

Materials
  • 3 real whole plums for whole and halved items
  • 1000 approx. individual 3mm glass mirror tiles yellow-gold color
  • 1 tube industrial-grade multi-purpose glue e.g., E6000

Equipment

  • Fine-tip paintbrush
  • Tweezers
  • Paper Towels
  • Cutting board
  • Knife
  • Large bowl (for cleaning)

Method

  1. Clean and thoroughly dry 2 whole plums and 1 plum half.
  2. Separate and sort small yellow-gold mirror tiles.
  3. Apply a thin bead of industrial glue with a fine paintbrush to a 1x1 inch section of a whole plum.
  4. Use tweezers to position individual tiles onto the glued section with minimal gaps. Continue tiling the entire plum.
  5. For the halved plum, repeat the tiling process only on the external rind side, using small tiles to follow the contours.
  6. Do not allow glue to touch the exposed internal natural fruit flesh specify or pit specify of the halved plum.
  7. Allow the finished pieces to cure on a flat surface in a well-ventilated specify area specify for at least 24-48 hours before handling extensively.

Notes

Ensure plums are firm for best results. Use tweezers for precision tiling.
