Ingredients

Main
  • 32 oz frozen meatballs homestyle or beef
  • 18 oz grape jelly
  • 12 oz chili sauce Heinz style
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper optional
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker / Crockpot
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the grape jelly and chili sauce until combined. If the jelly is too stiff, microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Place the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours, until meatballs are hot and sauce is bubbly.
  5. Switch to 'Warm' setting and serve with toothpicks.

Notes

For a BBQ variation, substitute the chili sauce with your favorite BBQ sauce.
