Ingredients
  

Fruit Base
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 1 cup green grapes halved if large
  • 1 cup red grapes halved if large
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh
  • 2 medium apples cored and cubed (Honeycrisp or Gala)
  • 2 large bananas sliced
Dressing
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 0.25 cup honey adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
  • 0.5 cup pecans chopped and optionally toasted

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • Small whisk
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Method
 

  1. Wash all fruit thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels to prevent a watery salad.
  2. Chop strawberries, apples, and bananas into bite-sized pieces. Halve the grapes if they are large.
  3. Place all prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  4. In a separate small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, honey, lime juice, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour the dressing over the fruit mixture.
  6. Gently fold the fruit into the dressing using a spatula until everything is evenly coated.
  7. Just before serving, sprinkle chopped pecans over the top for crunch.
  8. Serve immediately or chill for up to 1 hour.

Notes

If making ahead, wait to add bananas and nuts until just before serving to keep them fresh and crunchy.
