Ingredients
  

Pillows
  • 3 cups cooked chicken shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 cans crescent rolls 8 oz each
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 2 tbsp green onions chopped
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
Sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup sour cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix softened cream cheese, 3 tbsp melted butter, garlic powder, and green onions until smooth. Stir in shredded chicken.
  3. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 rectangles (pinch diagonal seams together if using triangles).
  4. Place a scoop of chicken mixture onto each rectangle. Pull corners up and seal to form a pillow/pouch.
  5. Place pillows in baking dish. Brush tops with remaining melted butter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, whisk soup, milk, and sour cream in a saucepan over medium heat until hot and smooth.
  8. Serve pillows hot, smothered in the creamy sauce.

Notes

Add crumbled bacon to the filling for extra flavor.
