Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base
  • 1 banana peeled, sliced, and frozen
  • 0.5 cup brewed coffee chilled or cold brew
  • 0.25 cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter creamy or crunchy
  • 2 tsp honey adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Prepare ahead by peeling, slicing, and freezing the banana overnight for the best texture.
  2. Brew coffee and allow it to chill completely in the refrigerator, or use prepared cold brew.
  3. Add the chilled coffee and milk to the blender first to help the blades spin easily.
  4. Add the peanut butter, honey, and the frozen banana chunks into the blender.
  5. Blend on high for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth, thick, and creamy.
  6. Pour into a glass or mason jar and serve immediately. Enjoy cold!

Notes

Do not use hot coffee, as it will melt the frozen banana and ruin the thick consistency. Swap honey for maple syrup to make this vegan.
