Method
- Fill a hurricane glass with fresh ice to chill, or place it in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the Coconut rum, Blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and cream (or coconut cream).
- Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosty. This ensures a frothy, cloud-like texture.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry on top.
- Serve immediately while cold and frothy.
Notes
For a vegan version, use full-fat canned coconut milk instead of dairy cream. Shake well before measuring.
