Ingredients

Pizza Base
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough or seamless dough sheet
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Glaze (Optional but Recommended)
  • 0.5 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk plus more if needed
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment

  • Pizza Pan or Baking Sheet
  • Pastry brush
  • Pizza Cutter
  • Small Mixing Bowls

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough. If using rolls, separate into triangles and arrange in a circle on the pan, points inward. Press seams together firmly to form a solid round crust.
  3. Brush the melted butter generously over the entire surface of the dough.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle heavily over the buttered dough.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and puffy.
  6. While baking, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl to create the glaze.
  7. Remove pizza from oven. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle with glaze and slice into wedges.

Notes

For a creamier version, spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese on the dough before adding the cinnamon sugar.
