Method
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a pizza pan or baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough. If using rolls, separate into triangles and arrange in a circle on the pan, points inward. Press seams together firmly to form a solid round crust.
- Brush the melted butter generously over the entire surface of the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle heavily over the buttered dough.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and puffy.
- While baking, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl to create the glaze.
- Remove pizza from oven. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle with glaze and slice into wedges.
Notes
For a creamier version, spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese on the dough before adding the cinnamon sugar.
