Ingredients

Glass Garnish
  • 1-2 tbsp dark chocolate syrup for swirling inside the glass
  • 1 fresh strawberry slit for the rim
Cocktail Components
  • 1.5 oz vanilla vodka
  • 1.5 oz strawberry liqueur like Tequila Rose or strawberry cream
  • 1 oz chocolate liqueur creamy or clear
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 cup ice for shaking

Equipment

  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Jigger
  • Coupe or Martini Glass

Method

  1. Place your coupe or martini glass in the freezer to chill for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the chilled glass and squeeze thick chocolate syrup in a swirling pattern around the inside walls. Return glass to the freezer to set the chocolate.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the vanilla vodka, strawberry liqueur, chocolate liqueur, and heavy cream.
  4. Fill the shaker halfway with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside is frosty.
  5. Retrieve the prepared glass from the freezer. Strain the pink cocktail mixture carefully into the center of the glass.
  6. Garnish the rim with a fresh strawberry and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure your glass is very cold before adding the chocolate syrup so the syrup clings to the sides instead of pooling immediately at the bottom.
