Ingredients

The Bombs
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (Grand's style, 16oz) 8 count
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese block cut into 1-inch cubes
Garlic Butter Glaze
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning optional
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.25 tsp salt to taste

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Pastry brush
  • Small mixing bowl

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to catch any cheese leaks.
  2. Remove biscuits from the can. Gently flatten each biscuit round with your hand to make it wider.
  3. Place one cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each dough circle.
  4. Pull the edges of the dough up around the cheese and pinch tightly to seal. Roll into a smooth ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  6. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the unbaked biscuit balls.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  9. Serve warm while the cheese is still gooey and stretchy.

Notes

Ensure you seal the dough tightly to prevent cheese from leaking out during baking.
