- In a large bowl, whisk together mashed bananas, warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and egg.
- Stir in yeast, then gradually add flour and salt. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1-1.5 hours).
- Turn dough out onto a floured surface and roll into a 12x18 inch rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 even rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Cover and let rise again for 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk glaze ingredients together. Drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, add chopped walnuts to the filling.
